From March 27th 2010 until February 27 2011, Triennale Design Museum has presented a new interpretation of the Italian design titled “Qualicose siamo” (The things we are), curated by Alessandro Mendini. The exhibition consists of a series of Babel-inspired towers that together represents an ideal city of multilingual signs, materials, cultures and objects. The Babeltower is the symbol and soul of the city where walls and volumes express theethical and aesthetical tensions between citizens, their poetry and their responsibility. Esterni presents its own personal interpretation with an interactive installation that stands as an invitation to cultural exchanges and socialization through different languages; a tower that creates harmony within the diversity with the collaboration of Pasquale Covucci, Patrick Hubmann and graphic designer Edoardo Notizia.
